Dice Notation
How dice are written: "d20" is one twenty-sided die, "2d6" is two six-sided dice added together.
The letter d stands for "die" and the number after it is how many sides it has: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20. A number in front says how many to roll, so 3d6 means roll three six-sided dice and add them up. "+ 2" at the end adds two to the result. The twenty-sided die (d20) is used for most attacks, checks and saves. In this app players press Roll for their own dice.
