Target Number
The number a total has to reach for an attempt to succeed.
Many rolls have a target number. Your total is compared with it to see if you succeed. An attack is compared with how hard the enemy is to hit, its Armor Class (AC); other attempts are compared with a Difficulty Class (DC). The roll result card shows the target next to your total.
