Ability Score
A number describing one basic quality of a character, such as strength or agility; higher is better.
Ability scores describe a character's raw talents, for example Strength, Dexterity (agility), Constitution (toughness), Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma. Each score gives a modifier that is added to rolls using that ability.
